Keeping People Healthy & Performing Their Best
For Manufacturers · Founding Member Program · Only 20 Seats
How would your manufacturing operation change if you eliminated 50% or more of your injuries?
Most Clients Cut Their Injury Costs by 50–90% — and Kept Them Down for Years.
Since 2012, 100% of the clients we’ve served have had fewer injuries and greater productivity.
Many companies have spent time and resources trying different programs to reduce injuries, none of which lasted long term. You are about to learn about the program that succeeds every single time!
- Until now this program has only been available live and cost over $100,000, affordable to enterprise clients.
- Today the identical program is also available digitally, run by your supervisors. Easy to implement, highly effective and non time demanding.
- For the first time this system is within reach of every manufacturer. It is only $15,000
- If you are one of the first 20 founding members to purchase this program, your price is $5000
Does this sound like you?
- You’ve implemented safety training, and within a few months the old habits came back — and so did the injuries.
- Your supervisors are stretched thin. Safety feels like one more thing on an already busy list.
- Workers don’t speak up until after they have been in pain for months, which hurt productivity — and eventually it’s an expensive workers’ comp claim.
- Workers’ comp claims, medical and disability costs are eating into your profits.
- Chronic aches and pains are common on your floor, and they quietly drain morale and reduce productivity and final product quality
- You couldn’t justify a $100,000 consulting engagement — or you already paid for one and watched it fade.
If you nodded at even one of these, keep reading. There is a reason it keeps happening, and there is an affordable fix that lasts — and every month you don’t put in the fix is another month it costs you money you won’t get back.
It isn’t your people. It’s how the entire industry is addicted to traditional safety that simply does not work.
Most plants want to eliminate injuries, whether they want to save money or take care of the workers they care about.
They have been trying the same traditional approaches for years! And very little works.
Maybe a good consultant trains and motivates your workers, then leaves. For a few months injuries are down. Within two to six months, old habits return and injuries climb back. The training was a waste of time and resources. The problem is people, all of us, are addicted to our habits. So your workers return to their old habits.
Part of the solution is you must replace bad habits with good safe efficient habits. We have studied the science of habit change, and it is built into this program.
What else have they tried to reduce injuries?
- safety talks
- rewards
- Safety videos playing in the lunchroom
- and many more traditional things.
- posters
- ergonomic equipment
- Stretching program
They are all good ideas, but they do not work.
For years Best Performance did what everyone else in the safety industry does: provide great training to workers, motivate them, and leave.
It worked well enough to earn the trust of many Fortune 500 plants. But we weren’t satisfied. We wanted to do better.
We saw the same thing in our clients. People eventually returned to their old habits.
And we knew
we could do better.
The Hero’s Quest
The Best Performance Systems Quest To Be the Best
In Joseph Campbell’s famous story “The Hero’s Journey” A hero ventures forth from the common world on a quest to find great things and powers to return and bestow upon his fellow man.
The Best Performance Team is on a quest. It is to find everything that might contribute to improve the workplace.
We are on a quest to find how to reduce or eliminate injuries, improve productivity, and have it last year after year. How to influence people to want to learn new things to feel better, to learn them, remember them, and apply them.
As a speaker to many industrial conferences, I had friends and colleagues who think the way we do and we learn from each other.
We studied Industrial psychology, How to influence human behavior, ways to create a happier work environment, systems to build real trust and communication between supervisors and their workers, Conflict prevention, systems to teach skills and influence people to make them their habits both at work and at home (you don’t want your workers safely lifting heavy things at work but not at the lumber yard or their backyard), positive communication, so when your supervisors tell a worker what to do, the worker feels respected and empowered, and does it.
Most other safety programs are very good at a few things.
Best Performance integrates all that we learn (and we are still learning) to have the greatest impact on your company.
And all of this is implemented into your workforce in a 3-5 minute meeting 3 x week where your supervisors simply show a video that does the teaching, then a few minutes of your supervisor asking the team questions about what they just saw.
Then twice a week your supervisor invests a few minutes with their team sharing a leadership skill.
Best Performance Systems is not a safety program. It is a system that influences your staff to want to and remember to do the right thing, to create a happier and more productive positive culture.
This system is why we’ve had 100% success since 2012, and why manufacturers invite us to speak at their conferences to share many of our proprietary techniques
Picture your plant over the next 90 days and beyond
Every day without a better system is another day your people and your profits are at risk. Here is what changes when you implement Best Performance Systems.
Timelines will vary by plant, based on each site’s size, schedule, and operation.
Days 1–30
The Culture Starts to Shift
- Supervisors start the shift by pressing play on a short 3–5 minute video. Each video teaches a technique that makes workers feel better and get more done. The video does all the training.
- Supervisors learn Positive Communication. Workers feel respected and empowered and more willingly carry out supervisor requests.
- Workers start speaking up sooner about hazards, equipment problems, and early aches or pain. So the cause can be identified and corrected to prevent future problems.
Days 31–60
Safe Habits Become Daily Habits
- Workers begin to use proper body mechanics without being reminded. Injuries are down and productivity up.
- Supervisors give clearer instructions and more positive feedback, again, contributing to workers feeling respected and empowered
- The team begins problem solving because people are influenced and rewarded to openly share.
- Strains get reported early and treated before they turn into claims. Stop paying for injuries you could have prevented.
Days 61–90
The Results Show Up in Your Numbers
- Injuries and workers’ compensation claims are trending down and productivity is up
- Fewer repeat incidents, because an injury triggers evaluating the cause to put prevention in place
- Less rework, less scrap, and less overtime.
Beyond 90 Days
- A safe productive positive, happier culture that runs every day as “the way we do things around here”
- Lower turnover, easier recruiting, and a stronger reputation in your community.
- Higher output per labor hour. That is how safety becomes profit.
- A self-motivated team.
The Manufacturing Supervisor Leadership Program
Most training fades within weeks. This one doesn’t. It is a step-by-step, habit-changing system that your own supervisors run every day, The safe way is simply the way things are done around here.
Supervisors become effective trainers just by pressing play.
At least 3 times a week they show their team a 3-5 minute video on one technique that is used when they are working. The video is designed to influence the workers to understand why it makes them feel better . The video does all the training for the supervisor
Supervisors become effective at teaching Leadership Skills
Twice a month, the supervisors learn a new leadership skill by looking at a 15 minute video that trains them. The leadership skills are easy for the supervisor to learn, implement and maintain with their teams. They are designed to be fun for the workers and they have powerful effects on the teams performance.
Supervisors learn to recognize and reward workers who are “caught” using safe habits.
They give a reward to any worker they see doing a stretch, lifting, pushing or pulling properly, or helping another worker. Workers feel good because they were complimented, and they are influenced to do good things when there is no supervisor around.
The way you impact peoples behavior when you are not around, is by the way you treat them when you are around.
The Best stretching program
Every worker is taught a stretching routine. Each stretch is designed to reduce tension, ache or fatigue, in one part of the body and create more energy to make work easier. They are asked to perform one 3 breath stretch twice per hour. They choose which stretch to do based on how they feel at the moment. Since 2012, most workers are still doing them for years. Why? Because they feel better.
What Happens to the business if this system is implemented?
Outcome 1
Fewer injuries, for years, not months
What it means for you:
Lower workers’ comp costs, fewer lost time days due to injury, less overtime and less paperwork. Most of our clients saw their injury costs fall 50–90%, and the results lasted for years.
Outcome 2
Workers who are happier, communicate better with their supervisors, and like working there
What it means for you:
Safe habits stick because workers actually feel better. Supervisors and crews trust each other. This is an important missing piece in many plants: regardless of how good the information is, workers only use it when they feel they are respected and empowered by their supervisors. This system builds trust and eliminates the frustrations that many supervisors have of workers that cooperate less than ideally when they are asked to do something
Outcome 3
The workers get more done with the same effort, so productivity improves
What it means for you:
Safer technique feels better, is more efficient and takes less effort, so workers get more done in the same amount of time. Working more efficient and having more strength and endurance means less rework and waste. One client was surprised by multi-million-dollar savings from reduced waste and rework alone.
Who is this program for?
manufacturers who want to have significantly reduced injury costs, greater productivity, less mistakes and waste, a more positive company culture, and who want lasting results daily year after year
A better day for everyone in the plant
Workers
They have less aches, tension and fatigue, get more done with the same effort, and go home with more energy for friends and family — instead of collapsing on the couch, exhausted.
Supervisors
Less stress because they have a better-performing department, with simple daily tools and easy-to-apply leadership skills that take the guesswork out of leading.
HR and safety leaders
Fewer injuries, fewer claims and less paperwork.
The company
A more profitable plant: lower injury costs, less waste and rework, greater productivity, and a workforce that wants to be there.
Everything your plant needs, in the order you’ll use it
Pre-assessment survey
The supervisors and workers learn to easily pinpoint the cause of stress and injury even before there is a problem. The best way to treat an injury is to prevent it. And if an injury occurs, they have the skills to figure out why and prevent it from happening in the future.
Why it matters to you
Builds buy-in before training starts, and empowers your staff to solve problems themselves.
Supervisor training
They learn leadership skills that are simple to learn, implement and maintain. These practical skills build teamwork, empower workers to improve procedures in their department, reduce conflict, influences their team to feel respected, empowered and wanting to do the best job they can.
Leaders learn to recognize and reward workers “caught” using safe habits.
Why it matters to you
Supervisors become leaders who bring out their team’s best — trusted and followed, not just obeyed.
Worker training
Workers learn to adjust equipment and technique to have less stress and injuries, feel better and get more done with the same effort.
Why it matters to you
Fewer injuries and greater productivity. Workers do it because they actually feel better and go home with more energy for friends and family. That is important to the workers.
Daily reinforcement
Interactive 3–5 minute video lessons 3 times per week or more. Supervisors just press play and the video does the training in groups or one-to-one on a smartphone.
Why it matters to you
Habits stay alive after the training ends. daily, year after year. This is what most programs are missing.
Plus the support that makes it stick
- Monthly Zoom meetings with your supervisors to help solve challenges and build confidence and provide new skills.
- Two private consulting calls with a Best Performance consultant in your first 90 days.
- Unlimited email support for your supervisors’ questions and to solve challenges. We want every client to succeed.
- Every update and addition to the program during your 12-month license — a new skill to apply every month.
- Consulting days can be purchased to have a Best Performance consultant on your site to evaluate and solve challenges, assist with implementation, provide additional training, etc.
What it takes from you: the program works when your leaders use it consistently — short worker videos 3–5 times per week, and leadership training twice a month.
Meet Dr. Barry Carlin
Dr. Carlin has spent more than 20 years helping teams perform at their best under pressure, from Cirque du Soleil and the Joffrey Ballet to major manufacturers like Boeing and Pratt & Whitney. He is a sought-after keynote speaker at PIHRA, AeroDef, ASQ and ErgoTech and others.
His method turns supervisors from managers into leaders that workers trust and follow, and that is why the results are so profound and last. Since 2012, Best Performance Systems has done one thing; help manufacturers reduce injuries, be more productive and develop more positive cultures.
When you join, you also get our support team: experienced trainers and project managers who will help you get started, solve challenges and answer your supervisors’ questions.
Results our clients have measured
We reduced work comp costs in one year from $3 million to $1.3 million, a $1.7 million saving, sustained over several years. We were quite surprised at the unexpected multi-million-dollar savings in reduced waste and rework directly from influencing the staff to use efficient habits.
Joanne Bielawski
Workers Comp Administrator, High Precision Aerospace
Injuries dropped from $2M to $900K a year, and workers now help each other to be safer and more productive. We never thought we’d see people helping each other on the production floor.
Jose Gonzalez
Production Manager, Genie Lift Corp.
Six months without a single injury — the first time ever.
Richard Kandell
HR Manager, Marconi Astronics
Workers are actively changing technique to be safer and feel better. I never believed it was possible.
John Tyrone
Production Manager, The Boeing Company

Most safety programs train your workers and leave. We build a system that stays.
What does one injury really cost you?
The National Safety Council estimates that the average work injury requiring medical care costs $48,000, counting wage losses, medical expenses, disability costs, administrative expenses and employer costs. That’s before overtime to cover the gap, slower output, rework, and a crew that trusts the job a little less because they see their colleagues getting injured.
The Best Performance Program costs $15,000. (And only $5000 if you are one of the 20 Founding Members) Prevent one injury and the program has paid for itself, and you will prevent far more than one.
"Every client we have worked with has reduced injuries, most with a 50 to 90% reduction in injury costs. That is why the Best Performance Systems program is an investment, not an expense, which pays for itself over and over."

Additional Services
AVAILABLE TO BEST PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS CLIENTS
Supervisor Seminar: A Full Day with Dr. Carlin at Your Plant
Your supervisors set the tone on your production floor. This is the day they go from knowing the program to using it with confidence. Dr. Carlin comes to your plant and leads an 8-hour, hands-on seminar built around practice and role-play, not lectures. Your supervisors leave motivated, because they experience the value for themselves and see what it does for their workers.
What your supervisors will do:
- Learn to spot safe ergonomics and good work habits, and how to recognize and reward them
- Practice running the 3-to-5-minute training videos and leading the conversation afterward so workers truly understand
- Build their leadership skills through guided practice
- Strengthen their presentation skills by working together as a group
- Learn how to teach workers self-evaluation and self-care, so they can reduce their own discomfort on the job
What they take with them:
- Supportive handouts
- Full access to the Best Performance Systems website, which contains everything they learned and is the tool they will use on the production floor
Details: Up to 25 supervisors in one full-day class.
Investment: $5,000 plus expenses (travel, lodging, and a reasonable per diem)
AVAILABLE TO ANY MANUFACTURER
On-Site Risk Evaluation and Written Report
The most common cause of injury, pain, and lost productivity in manufacturing is also the easiest to miss: poor posture while working. It looks harmless, and it costs plants a great deal. Dr. Carlin comes to your facility to find it, along with the other risks hiding in your equipment, ergonomics, procedures, and worker habits.
How it works:
- Before the visit: Your workforce completes an anonymous survey. It reveals what people won’t always say out loud, and it prepares them for Dr. Carlin’s visit.
- During the visit: Dr. Carlin walks your floor with a well-liked, respected worker or supervisor and talks with people in many short, informal interviews.
- After the visit: You receive a written report organized by department. For each department, it lists the risks observed, the problems they can cause, and practical solutions, both purchased and, when possible, low-cost ones you can make yourselves.
- Support afterward: Dr. Carlin is available to speak with whoever is making the physical corrections.
Investment: $5,000 plus expenses (travel, lodging, and a reasonable per diem)
SOFT SKILLS WORKSHOPS
Soft Skills Curriculum
Great plants run on more than machines and procedures. They run on how well people work together. Poor communication, unresolved conflict, and resistance to change quietly drain efficiency. Trust, mentoring, and positive communication restore it. Our behavior-based workshops make new habits stick, and two months of follow-up materials, assignments, and support keep results going after training ends. Pick a workshop and get the best from your people and your plant.
- Presentation Skills
- Handling Conflict Thru A Non-Confrontational Resolution Process
- Influencing and Motivating Worker Behavior
- Supervisor Skill of “Trust”
- Supervisor Skill: Quit & Stayed
- Coaching For Work Performance
- Mentoring For Job Skills
- Emotional Intelligence
- Motivational Leadership

BEST PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS
Our Commitment to You
Since 2012, we have helped manufacturers reduce injuries, improve productivity, and build a more positive workplace. Every client we have worked with had reduced injuries, most with a 50–90% reduction in injury costs.
That's because this is not a library of information. It is a simple system, and it works when it is put into practice. We will help you put it into practice.
HERE IS OUR PROMISE
Your first 2 months
Follow the Getting Started plan. You should begin to see the early results described there. If it is too early to see injury reductions, you will see workers feeling better, improvements in production and waste, positive supervisor feedback, and fewer near-misses.
If you don't see these results
We won't leave you on your own. We will assign a Best Performance consultant to work closely with your key people for 2 more months, at no extra charge.
If you have followed the system and still don't see the early results above
You will receive a full refund. Following the system means showing the worker training videos at least 3 times a week and holding the leadership sessions at least twice a month.
You are not buying a library of videos.
You are gaining a system and a partner committed to your success.
To request a refund, email [email protected] within 7 days after the 4-month period. Eligibility is based on the training and leadership-session activity recorded in your program account.
If you are not certain if you want to purchase this program, or if you just want to feel better, Get the Free At-Home Routine to Reduce or Eliminate Neck, Shoulder and Upper Back Tension
Neck shoulder and upper back pain and tension are among the most common complaints in any workplace, in fact everywhere in society. At first this routine will make you feel better but if you continue it for several months it will eliminate the neck shoulder and upper back pain and tension permanently. This simple home routine is something anyone can do to relieve them. Share it with your whole crew, and encourage them to share it with their friends and family, too.
You get more upper body endurance so you get more work done but you also perform better at everything in life, even sports. Experience how much better you can feel by your own efforts.

Common questions
What do I get for $5,000?
The full digital program which will be $15,000 for everyone after the first 20 are sold, pre-assessment survey, supervisor leadership training, worker training and daily reinforcement videos, monthly supervisor Zoom meetings, two private consulting calls with a Best Performance consultant in your first 90 days, unlimited email support, every update during your 12-month license, and your choice of one free soft skills seminar.
Is it really the same as your $100,000 program that has had 100% success since 2012?
Yes. It is the same method and the same content that has worked for our live clients since 2012. The only difference is the delivery: video and your own supervisors, in place of our team on your floor.
Why is it only $5,000?
Founding members pay one-third of the regular $15,000 price in exchange for helping us to make the program better, All we ask is that you use the program, provide a testimonial if the program helps and you would like to, and make any suggestions to improve the program.. Only 20 seats are available.
What happens when the 20 seats are gone?
The Founding Member price closes for good. The program then costs $15,000, or 3 payments of $5,000. Those options are available only after the 20 Founding seats are sold. And quite honestly, there is nothing on the market as good as this program and $15,000 is a bargain
Who uses the program at our plant?
Your supervisors and leaders run it with their crews. They don’t need to be experts in ergonomics, safe technique, or self-treatment — they press play, and the 3–5 minute video does the training.
How much time does it take?
Worker videos: 3–5 minutes, 3–5 times a week. Leadership training: one short video, twice a month. And supervisors learn to recognize workers using good habits as they walk around and reward them on the spot to stimulate future good work habits
How long do we have access, and what does renewal cost?
You have access for 12 months from purchase. After that, renew for $3,000 a year. Your renewal is free if you refer another company that buys Best Performance.
What if we don’t get the results we want?
That is what our guarantee is for. We will work with you personally until you reach the goals we set together, as long as you’re running the program as agreed. Since 2012, every company we’ve worked with has gotten results. You will too.
What is the soft skills seminar?
Every company wants a mix of skills and experience in their staff that will contribute to a culture that will give them a competitive edge. It’s no longer enough to be a functional expert in their job. In addition to the core competencies, there are certain “soft skills” a superior worker needs.
Research suggests and experience shows that companies are more stable and successful when the staff possesses Technical and Soft skills.
“Soft skills” refer to a cluster of personal qualities, habits, ability to work in teams, relationship building, leadership, adaptable and creative at solving problems, attitudes and social graces that make someone an effective good employee, who is happy working, enhances the business environment, and compatible to work with.
Every new client chooses one soft skills seminar at no charge. Additional seminars are $5,000 each. [Link to soft skills seminar page.]
Is there anything else available?
Yes. A Best Performance consultant can visit your plant in person for a two-day risk assessment of the plant and a written report of problems found and solution. Also a supervisor coaching session to stimulate them to be confidant and competent to apply the program., This is $5,000 per day plus expenses. You can schedule either of these sessions or both. Ask your consultant about it on your first call.
How do I pay?
By Stripe, PayPal, or ACH bank payment. All options are on the checkout page.
What happens after I pay?
You’ll get your login by email, fill in a short form about your plant, and book your first call with one of our Best Performance consultants — each with 10–15 years of experience teaching this program.
Can I talk to someone before I decide?
Yes. Book a short call with one of our Best Performance consultants. You’ll tell us about your plant’s specific problems, and we’ll explain how the program fits into your daily operations. [Calendly link]
20 plants will get this program at one-third of the price. Will yours be one of them?
Every month without a system like this costs your plant in injuries, lost time and money. Give your supervisors the program that has worked since 2012, at a price you’ll never see again once the 20 seats are gone.
Reserve Your Founding Member Seat → Get Your Questions Answered by a Consultant First →
Not sure yet? Book a short call. We’ll learn about your plant and help you decide if this is right for you.
P.S. Even at the regular price of $15,000, this program costs a fraction of the cost of a single injury, and it still comes with our guarantee that we’ll stay with you, personally, until you get results. But you don’t have to pay regular price. Only 20 Founding Member seats exist at $5,000, and once they’re gone, this offer is gone with them. [N] of 20 remain. Reserve yours before someone else does.
